On April 12, teaching and learning specialist at SUSU’s Pushkin Institute Research, Education and Coordination Centre, Tatiana Beloglazova, awarded Calligraphy Contest winners at the Pushkin Institute Centre, opened by SUSU at Beijing Language and Culture University in November of 2018 in the frameworks of the Education Development programme, supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, within the project entitled “ Establishment and development of a network of Pushkin Institute Centres in the PRC on the basis of organisations performing education in Russian language”.
390 contest entries from Chinese partner universities had been submitted for the Calligraphy Contest; 256 of them had been admitted for participation. Upon results of the Contest, 1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-place certificates were awarded to Chinese students of the 2nd and the 4th years of study from the Faculty of Russian Language at Beijing Language and Culture University: Li Shunan, Lu Xiaofan and Lei Yutian.
Dean of the Faculty of Russian Language, Guan Yuhong, noted the big interest of students who are learning Russian language to events held by the Pushkin Institute Centre. It is tomorrow already that students, under supervision of teaching staff of the Pushkin Institute Centre and a Russian language instructor Wu Baoyan, will take part in Total Dictation.
