Pushkin Institute Research, Education and Coordination Centre together with the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the SUSU Institute of Linguistics and International Communications invites to obtain supplementary competencies in the sphere of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Students, masters, postgraduates, academics of the university and all who willing can complete training on the vocational retraining programme entitled “Theory and practice of teaching Russian as a foreign language”.
Attendees, who completed the vocational retraining programme intended for 350 hours, are granted the right to carry out professional activity in the sphere of teaching Russian as a foreign language. Specific feature of this programme in comparison with the similar ones is that attendees undertake internship in groups of international students from basic to advanced levels.
Classes are held in the evening, which is the time convenient for attendees. In average, classes are held 3 times a week, for 4 hours (two periods).
The programme considers the issues of methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language as well as phonetic, lexical and grammatical aspects of teaching; teaching the types of vocal activity; forms of control when teaching Russian as a foreign language; and modern educational technologies. Attendees are going to have classes on Linguistics and Cultural Studies and International Communication, Pedagogy, and Modern Russian Literary Language.
